Half of Miami is underwater and it won't stop raining. Hurricane brewing in the Gulf of Mexico, but the biggest disaster is the past 23 years being the only thing young adults can remember from first-hand experience.

Yes, it began at the start of this month. It's not the wind that kills it's the storm surge and flooding. With the ground already saturated and/or flooded a Category 1 can be catastrophic. And even if your state did not take the brunt of a direct hit the remnants still have the potential to turn already flooded areas into life threatening disaster zones. Never hurts to have an inflatable raft, canoe or boat ready.

had 3 bsods since late yesterday I think I got it figured out. I'm pretty sure it was my browser causing it it had been acting up since saturday when the power got turned off because some dickhead decided it wasn't important enough for me to be given a heads up about it fucking prick
so I refreshed it this morning and it seems to be working right now.

I live in an area of Miami that was built on top of swamp that was drained and it still has frequent wetland weather patterns. I grew up in this area and moved back because of the pine trees and frequent rain which reminds me of Falkreath. Funny thing is it has a better drainage system than downtown that's underwater lately.
