    Default d3d9.dll trouble.. plx help!!

..as you would guess, the problem emerges the moment i try to start Chankast [alpha 025v]. The moment i try to run it, a window pops up telling me that "d3d9.dll was not found" and that "the application could not be started"..
As far as i'm informed, my PC meets the requirements and.. well, that's all..

Now.. should i try downloading a diffrent emu or is there a fix to this? And yes, i've already tried downloading Chankast again, but the problem remains.

Please help! [i want to play Sonic Adventures sooo bad!]

    thnx in advance

Either you don't have DX9 installed or your graphics card is ancient.

You might want to read that thread. As for further issues, it all depends on your setup. Can't know until they happen.

Sonic Adventure: Works with minor glitches that are Un-Noticeable, crashes at mystic ruins, but this can be fixed by lowering CPU speed to 50.

You might want to try NullDC, to see if it works better than ChanKast with Sonic Adventures.

    Find about NullDC here:

And read everything you need to know about DC emulation here:

You may not have a DX9 compatible card, but you can still install it.

    See if it helps any.

Why not here! Try out bittorrent tracker Or is this where you got it in the first place?

.BIN files are standard for CD images, there should be .CUE nearby as well, mount them with Daemon Tools. See the links mentioned previously.

nah.. actually, im using eMule for dwnlds [dont like torrenrts much, i must confess].. and alcohol for images. But, alc doesnt seem to recognize the .bin file for some reason..
im going to try and download a .cdi/whatever file and report back in like 2-3 days [256kbs connection = @.@] ..

    ..and..
