    Default KiGB v2.02 problems

When I got this new PC some emulators that worked great are giving me problems, in this case is KiGB v2.02 I just can't load any roms, I select some random rom and the emu just freeze, can someone help me? I like this emu and I think it's the best so I want to try solve the problem before try another

the other emu is Gens 2.14 I can only play if I disable the sound in the emu otherwise the game just freeze if noises, so nothing good!!!! I know here is not the place but if anyone can answer will be more quicker, but if not just say it and I will put in the correct place, thx in advance!!!!

If your PC is a dual core system (Duo/2/whatever processor, I am no expert) this might help you

Yup. If it still doesn't seem to work, post here again and say so.
I'm sure someone else might have some suggestions if the link I
gave you does not turn out to help

Well for KiGB it seems to work!!!!! That is a great tool!!!!! but this patch the exe? or the same emu will always be recognized? I extracted the same in other folder and it worked, so this is permanent? can you say if there is a way to revert it? like some other emulator can support a dual core system in the future and I can enable this support?

CPU: Pentium 4 HT 3.06 GHz
Graphics Card: GeForce 7300 GT 256MB
    RAM: 512MB
Operating System: WinXP SP2 DirectX 9.0
If that's your "new PC" then it's not dual core, and your graphics card is sucky, and you lack ram.

How the heck can you expect people to like you when you post stuff like this? No offense, I am just asking. His specs are more than enough for running KiGB -- a GAMEBOY emulator. He'd likely be fine with half of what he has. It is however true, OP, that your processor is not Dual Core if it is the one Astaroth here mentioned.

Well. You've made a good point.
That computer is probably more adequite than mine is for emulation.
It'll emulate a lot, but you could do with upgrading your RAM.

& Yes. Pentium 4s have hyperthreading, not 2 cores.

EDIT: A bit of friendly critisism, Hadouken! not too fussed if this user does not like Astaroth.

First, I recommend BGB over KiGB, although KiGB is a pretty good emulator too:

Also, try Kega Fusion over GENS, as it's also a better emulator:
