In my experience, Phillips has been a good brand to go with, at least in the <$50 range. I bought a pair of the wraparound kind and they have a nice crisp sound. They were $15 and sound better than the $60 noise cancelling set I have

I think that this is the brand that I will be going with.

Then you must stick around. You, Sprung, and I shall stage a hostile takeover of the forums.

    I've always owned in-ear headphones.
I relied on Sony but I recently converted to Samsung, the set which came with...like...the best MP3 evar. The right-side of the Sonys stopped working properly where I blasted out in my head.

I am not a big fan of those kinds of headphones. They annoy me a lot. I am a big fan of gaint headphones. I think I am going to go with the Sennheiser HD 555 headphones. The reviews I have been reading are starting to sell them on me.

EDIT: Yeah, I just ordered those. $103, but I just came across a little extra money. Apparently some people owed me. The reviews really sold me on it. Most said it was good bang for the buck so I figured why the hell not.
