Can't get Ikaruga to even open

I think this is an older problem, but I still can't figure it out.
I downloaded Ikaruga via Bittorrent off the usual Emuparadise website, and unzipped it, etc. Then I tried mounting it to Virtual Daemon and running it with Chankast (both the normal and the EX version-thing). Wouldn't work.
Then I went through the tutorials, downloaded the older version, re-unzipped the file, and did everything the tutorial told me to (namely, this one). Still doesn't work.

Went back, checked compatability, and I'm not getting any of those errors. My computer is completely compatable, etc, etc. It just doesn't want to boot up.

What should I do (or what am I doing wrong), and if its the file, can you point me towards one that works?

I got three files out of the thing:

• DC - Ikaruga(self)(CCD).ccd
• DC - Ikaruga(self)(CCD).img
• DC - Ikaruga(self)(CCD).sub

I tried mounting all three. the .ccd (which i am supposedly supposed to mount) gave me nothing (the date screen appeared twice, then went to the menu. Choosing GAME causes it to restart). The .img opens it as a song.

mount it with daemon toolz, re rip it with alcohol 120% as a mdf/mds and retry the emu on the new image files.
