Default USB Loader GFX Black Screen

    1. I diligently followed the guide here to the end: https://wii.guide/

    2. everything appears to be installed ok.

    3. Using Wii Backup Manager I transferred a game ISO to the WBFS folder on an external USB hard drive (not a usb thumb drive). I see the MarioKartWii [RMCE01] folder in the WBFS folder.

    4. when I open USB Loader GFX I see the Mario Kart Wii game that I copied to the external drive.

    5. When I try to launch the game I see a Mario Kart Wii loading screen with a 'settings' button and a 'start' button. When I click start I get a black screen and after about 30 seconds it returns me to the homebrew screen

    6. I've also tried 3 different games and verified they all work in Dolphin.

    My syscheck is located here:https://pastebin.com/raw/kkrKk91Y

Hmm, I don't see some IOS files I expect to see. Not that I know exactly what they're needed for, but maybe they're important seeing as your setup isn't working. My suggestion is to simply run Modmii and redo everything:

I've modded a bunch of Wii's with Modmii with no issues. Modmii will make you a easy to follow step-by-step guide.
It's not hard to redo your stuff, you've clearly already got HBC installed so you won't need to exploit anything again. You can skip bootmii and the NAND backup if you've already got them, you got Priiloader so you can skip that too (maybe double-check it's settings though). So you're just looking at installing a patched IOS236, and the batch of WADs. Oh, also you should probably delete your non-functional USB loader off your Wii. The one Modmii provides would probably overwrite it, but deleting it should save you some possible confusion if it doesn't.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

Thanks! It worked! Minor change, my wiimotion plus remotes wouldn't work in Multi-Mod Manager so I had to use WiiMod Lite instead: https://github.com/RiiConnect24/Wii-Mod-Lite/releases

    Thanks Again!!
