Default Real Wii remote shake function won't work in New Super Mario Bros. Wii

I am using a real Wiimote connected by Bluetooth, and everything works fine except for shaking. This problem only seems to appear on NSMBW, as I tried other games and it works fine when I shake.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes, I just realized I forgot to mention that.

It looks like it's version 4.0-3514, if that means anything

Standard WiiMote or one with Wii Motion Plus? What is the shake threshold in you Dolphin Controller Configuration? If this is set to 0 or 100, try setting it closer to the middle. One end is going to be always shaking, the other would probably need a 9.0 magnitude earthquake to activate.

    Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Standard. My computer always freezes when I try to connect my motion plus one. It was set to 50, and trying other numbers doesn't work either. Also, I use this screen to test if the shake works, as Mario should spin if it does, and I noticed that when I hold right on the d-pad, it acts like I'm hitting the button repeatedly instead of holding it down.
Does this shed any light on the situation?Name: Untitled.jpg

Update to 5.0 and see if that fixes your issue.
