I spent two weeks trying to do an essential Millia combo. I realized that I couldn't do it, so I dropped the character and went back to Slayer.

I didn't touch the character for two weeks and decided to try her out again today. I can do that combo that I had trouble with without issue now.

I had a similar issue months ago, with Garou.
I was trying to get my super-feint cancels links/pressure as consistent as possible, got tired, went for USF4, a couples of days later, could do them as I wanted.
Gotta give time for muscle memory to settle in.
