Run the game you're trying to play, upon the black screen, close the emulator.
Then go to PCSX2/Logs folder, and attach the emulog.txt here.

How did you run it? through ISO or Plugin?

i told you dynasty warriors 2! lol.... and what emulog.txt? if there was a link there its not there anymore...and i run it through ISO,...thank you by the way i know this is frustrating X3

well like i downloaded the Dynasty Warriors 2 files and they came up as winrar but not the archiver...like rar is the extension....i dont know how to explain it like do i need to change the file extension, i heard that works sometimes....if it does what do i change it to, iso or something else? i'm sorry lol....this is all just really confusing X3

Oops.. yeah, didn't saw that, my bad.

Attach the emulog.txt here, just click Go Advanced, then use Manage Attachment.

On the Quick Reply, there should be a Go Advanced button next to the Post Quick Reply button, click it.

Then, after you go advanced, scroll to the bottom, and you should see a Manage Attachment button.

Or if that too much work for you, just upload the text file to Mediafire and post the link here.

Follow these steps,
- Go to Config -> Plugin/BIOS Selector
- Change the CDVD plugin to Linuz ISO, apply, then go to Configure
- On the new window, press the Select ISO button, then choose your Dynasty Warrior 2 image file
- After that, press OK and OK again
- Under the CDVD menu, switch to Plugin
- Then go to System, and choose CDVD(fast)

If that still doesn't working,
- shorten your game name, e.g dynasty warrior 2
- or convert the .mdf file to .iso, and load the game with CDVD -> Iso

and you might want to try the official build(full installer) as well.

What about other games?

i tried both ways and neither worked ....is there something wrong with my laptop maybe? and as far as other games i havent tried any

Um, have your really try each of the method I posted? converting, use another builds, etc?

Kinda weird though, since the official build should give you some changes, at least.

Your laptop is okay, and try download another game.

Yes, and you should try another games as well.
Perhaps convert the game to .iso if you haven't.
