I think its like a implant sorta. Well not really implanted, as it was fake tooth to match my exisiting teeth. It was put in, because the adult tooth never came down. I know there's a name for it, but I can't think of it.
As for surgery, its not too bad. Its kinda hard to explain though, since I think surgery is different for everyone. Though for the most part its not too bad. I've had jaw surgery when I was 19, I think. The recovery part kinda sucked, no eating solid foods for six weeks.
