How do you download psx isos from edonkey2000?

I'm trying to download some psx isos from edonkey 2000, but it always says this:

How do I actually download some files? On a website, I clicked on a file and it opened up edonkey2000 and said in the status column that is was "looking..." I've tried with many different files, but it's always the same. And whenever I try seaching for anything, it can never find any results.

Well, that program is a bitch to setup so your problem is probably in the preferences. Try to look up the problem in the offical forums for help.

Edonkey tries to connect to servers until it connects to one thats why that appears.
When you put a file to download on donkey first it looks for users who have the file (looking...). Then it starts downloading.

Best bet is to try finding servers from here: http://www.thedonkeynetwork.com/pl/tdn.pl

You'll want to connect to a busier server for the best chance to find files.

I also had problems with Edonkey so someone advised to download EDONKEYBOT. You can get it from Kazaa. When you use edonkeybot it�s much easier to use and it will do much for you. Just make sure the edonkeybot is intended for the version you have. Good luck.

What's overnet? Is it like edonkey?

Its a serverless P2P application made by the creators of edonkey. I think they just released a new beta version. It uses the Windows .NET framework which only works with Windows 98 +. If you download Overnet you will need to download the .NET files too, if you don't already have them.

Overnet has been created by edonkey creators to be used instead of edonkey but a final version hasn't been released yet so you should wait before using overnet.

I dled it last night. Works great for me found 5 gamez already. 'Course they'll probably take awhile cuz theyre all queued.

I got edonkey to work and there are TONS of psx isos on there! But I can't figure out how to download them. It always just says "on queue" in the status column. I did download 8mb of mmx4 though before it said that. Does anybody know what on queue is? I looked in the eDonkey2000 help page, but there didn't say what it was.

It means that you�re standing in line. If too many people download from the same pc and the pc can�t handle the connections, edonkey and kazaa will put you �in line�. In other words, you�re virtually standing in line to enter someone�s computer, so you have to wait for your turn. This is what is happening when Edonkey or Kazaa displays �on queue�or �queued�.

I got on, and left the computer on all night to download monster rancher. It said that there were about 11 people that I had queued to download from. After the night (about 10 hours), it only downloaded 3.23mb!! And I'm sure that the computer was on all night and it was connected. I'm on a 56k, and is there any way to speed the downloading up at all?
