Games everyone loves except for you?

Final Fantasy VII. I never liked the early 3D era graphics. Most games that came out then looked hideous, and FF VII was no exception. When I tried to look past that and play it anyway I found boring characters/dialogue, a cheesy plot, and a crappy battle system. There were much much better RPGs on Playstation, so there was no sense in wasting time with this one.

Assassin's Creed definitely. I was so bored by the repetitive gameplay after a couple hours. I forced myself to beat it but it was such a chore by the end, I never wanted to play any of the sequels.

The ones that comes to mind is the God of War series. I don't get all the praise for them. I managed to play through the first one, but I couldn't bring myself to play more than about an hour on the sequel. Incredibly boring gameplay and setting.
