Yeah I gave up on keeping up with PC hardware many years ago. Pretty much throwing away money and the constant research into what's the latest best thing.
Graphics cards have good resale atm, but there isn't anything really unique about them (like old 3dfx cards) so in 10 years or more they won't have any real value.
I can understand why some people are all pcmasterrace but I just can't be bothered.
