It's pretty tough to find a lot of early art for the Valis games; especially for any of the Dark World bosses. My only solace was realizing that most of the dark world armor is exaggerated samurai gear. Beautiful designs...
Edit: I just remembered something: go into Google Translator and convert the name of the game into Japanese, then put that into image search. You will get a lot more of the older, original game art results.
