All I meant about my PS3 slim is that I never had any older model, so I can only go by what other people say about theirs. Mine crashes/locks up playing games more than any console I've ever had...even original Xbox.

I have both, the 60GB BC model they first released and the slim. All good with them both.

To be fair it's the only Sony console I've ever seriously complained about and I pretty much have all of them (some multiples of the same too) at this point besides some different models of the same console.
My PS4 has given me the app crashed or whatever message several times but nothing rage inducing, and tbh most were probably when I was playing Fallout 4 immediately after release date so none of the various update patches were there...also playing for quite a few hours in one session No big deal as I've had a good habit of manual saving in Beth games for many years now.

Even used consoles aren't cheap...I mean Aldi had some refurbished xbone consoles (plus a game) that were cheaper than Wii U premium EB refurbished prices.

Technically I guess, lol. I am generally fine with certain price points though. I was hoping to get a Wii U w/ the pad for around $100.
