Hey guys! New to the forums here so please excuse any mistakes I might make.
I'm setting up ePSXe on my current laptop and would love some help with making sure I'm using the correct plugins and settings for what my PC can offer. I have poured over info for days now and still can't seem to make heads or tails of what would be best for my system. So here I am asking for help.
My PC's info is below:
------------------
System Information
------------------
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Service Pack 1
System Manufacturer: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.
System Model: K55A
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3230M CPU @ 2.60GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.6GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 3982MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
---------------
Display Devices
---------------
Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
Manufacturer: Intel Corporation
Chip type: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
DAC type: Internal
Display Memory: 1696 MB
Dedicated Memory: 64 MB
Shared Memory: 1632 MB
Current Mode: 1280 x 720 (32 bit) (59Hz)
Monitor Name: Generic PnP Monitor
Monitor Model: FPDUS-FN
Native Mode: 1920 x 1080(i) (60.053Hz)
Output Type: HDMI
D3D9 Overlay: Supported
DXVA-HD: Supported
DDraw Status: Enabled
D3D Status: Enabled
AGP Status: Enabled
NOTE: This monitor is my HDTV in my living room for couch play and although it is 1080i, I run it at 1280X720 so it is easier to see from the couch.
I would also like go fullscreen and have the image fill as much of the screen as possible without losing it's aspect ratio. I am currently using Pete's OpenGL 2 with the fullscreen set at 1280X720 and the windowed set at 960X720. This works fine so at least I got that much done. Now for some smoothing and whatnot.
So what plugins would work best? Mainly the GPU plugin is what I'm looking for first. Thank you so much in advance guys! I really do appreciate it!
