80 hours without power, that was a fun storm. If Roxas still around, curious how bad it was for you
80 hours without power is crazy :pwacko:

*laughs in German*
Damn. Awhile back it was near 24 hours for me. There was some bad flooding awhile back here too.
Are you sure you live in the US? Sounds more third world
There was just that much damage.
As for third world, live smack dab in middle of 400K population area.
Not sure how true this part is, but apparently a lot of the emergency crews were up in the northeast helping with the hurricane damage from a few days prior. The crew that eventually came by to my brother's to get their power on (the pole was snapped in half) were just coming out of New Jersey, even though they are from Missouri lol
Seems like there aren't enough people employed to repair stuff, like when you have hurricanes or whatever.
Oooooh. Thunder and lightning. Pretty rare in Vancouver :dancing:
Yeah we've been getting slapped silly by these storms the last few weeks, super thrilling.
Lost power in my apartment for a day and lost internet for like three days. Turns out after 3 hours without internet I just revert to a feral state.
Yep, that's a constant problem.
That and a lot of the infrastructure isn't really rugged enough to handle any level of weather. Most of it is built to withstand weather that is on par of the area sure, but big storms and unusual weather are becoming the norm, so it'll be interesting to see what, if anything happens.
