I was wondering since the Wii has a SD card slot, is it possible to download a ROM from this site (such as Earthbound) to the card and be put on the Wii and be able to play it as if it was a VC game? If so, how do you do this and would it damage the Wii at all? Thanks.

I don't know/think it will work with any other device.
Darn...must be another way, lol. Ah well, maybe they'll come up with another way in the future...
You can play emulators on your Wii, but you can't play roms on your perfect VC emulator. VC roms are encrypted so they'll only play on your console, and if your rom isn't encrypted specifically for your Wii VC won't play it. Although it's probably only a matter of time till somebody makes a utility that'll fix up normal roms to play ;)Quote:

you would need the cube memcard to sd card thingamagic
(dosent go in the Wiis sd slot).
And a cube controller to play them.
